OUR CORNERSTONES Mr. Quade received his BA in Economics from the University of Illinois and completed graduate coursework at San Francisco State University’s Graduate School of Business. He started his 12-year financial management career on campus at Illinois, serving as CFO for the Illini Student Federal Credit Union. He assumed increased responsibilities at progressively larger financial institutions in Cincinnati, San Francisco, and the Los Angeles area performing in key leadership posts in controllership, financial operations and consulting. Nathan is senior member of the Western Credit Union National Management School Alumni Association and has been recognized for his speaking and lecturing contributions on financial management issues among local organizations. In addition, Nathan has acted as special advisor to CEOs and Boards of Directors of developing financial institutions in developing long-term strategies. Beginning her banking career with Bank of America, Ms. Crawford gained expertise in various banking divisions: operations, lending, sales training and sales management. She was selected for several strategic pilot programs to increase client retention, increase productivity and revenues. She won numerous Gold Club awards and recognition during her 11 years with Bank of America. Monica consistently advanced positions ultimately resulting in a high level management role before joining Russell Stephens. She received her Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University where she studied Business and Fine Art. She is an award-winning artist and is a consistent contributor to local non-profit organizations. She is a recipient of Russell Stephens’ Performers Board for her executive search and job placement success in the areas of Private Banking, Commercial Lending and Finance. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Southern California with an emphasis on film and television finance. He has consulted in the entertainment industry for over nine years, and has negotiated employment contracts with Sony, Disney, CBS, Miramax, and both international and domestic production companies. After receiving his MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business, Gyan began his career gaining significant experience as a credit analyst and then graduated to relationship manager positions. As a Global Corporate Banker, he originated and negotiated transactions involving Global Trade Finance and Asset-Based Lending for investment grade and non-investment grade corporates. He also cross-sold product areas and led global business development and relationship management across the Oil & Gas/Energy, Industrial Mining, Consumer Goods, Telecom and the Automotive industries. Ms. Risch received her MBA from California State University at Northridge and she holds a BS degree in Economics and Mathematics from Valparaiso University. She began her banking career with the Federal Reserve System, assuming positions of increasing responsibility over a ten year period. In addition, she invested nine years in management roles with Great Western Bank, Security Pacific National Bank and Coast Federal Bank. She invested nine years in the banking industry, encompassing positions in Customer Service, Personal Banking, Operations and Loan Servicing. She was most recently employed by Standard Register where she maintained her contacts in the financial services industry, building lasting relationships with national and local financial institutions. Ms. Zarzycki is responsible for job placement activities in the Midwest, headquartering Chicago. Mr. Vallecillo received his BA degree in Business Administration Management from San Francisco State University. He began his career in financial services with American General Finance, a subsidiary of AIG in their management training program and advanced through several key assignments into a managerial role. He was able to leverage this experience into more advanced positions at Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America, where he managed the portfolios of high net worth consumer and business clients. Mr. Vallecillo later accepted a management position with California Federal Bank before joining Russell Stephens. David has been honored for his job placement work with the prestigious Performers Board award. Ms. Fanelli received her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management. Her career began in the international finance department of a multi-billion dollar global systems distributor. Darla later joined a blue chip wealth management team on the East Coast, establishing and maintaining relationships with key ultra high-net worth clientele. Darla further built her career as a series-licensed Associate at a major international investment bank where she analyzed and developed opportunities within the venture capital, private equity and institutional markets. Darla has earned multiple achievement-related accolades during her tenure with Russell Stephens including the coveted Performer of the Year Award. She is also a repeat winner of the Performers Board Award. Darla is active in the community having served on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Children’s Art Center. Miller received his MBA in finance from Michigan State University, and holds a BBA in accounting from Eastern Michigan University. After having served as an Army Officer, he joined Arthur Andersen & Co., where he earned his CPA. Carl moved up to Investment Banking where he became a Deal Maker with a national investment banking firm. Leveraging his executive contacts, he progressed to executive recruitment where he invested over ten years as a Managing Partner with one of the largest financial search firms in the U.S. Carl Miller has been featured in many business publications, appeared numerous times on TV as an expert commentator, has been a frequent guest lecturer and is considered an expert author on career management advice.
